Dr. Shaymaa Salah is a Diagnostic Radiology Specialist with over six years of extensive clinical experience across all non-invasive radiological modalities including plain radiography, ultrasonography, CT, and MRI. She holds an MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University (2010), and a Master’s Degree in Diagnostic Radiology (2017), with her Master’s thesis focusing on LI-RADS classification for the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. She is DHA eligible and has trained and worked at top hospitals in Egypt.
Dr. Shaymaa has diverse subspecialty experience in emergency radiology, gastrointestinal radiology, head and neck radiology, genitourinary radiology, chest radiology, neuroradiology, breast imaging, vascular imaging, and obstetric and gynaecological imaging. She worked as a Radiology Resident then Specialist at the Air Force Specialized Hospital, New Cairo (2015–2021), as a Radiology Specialist at El-Tayeser Medical Centers Cairo (2017–2020), and as a Radiology Registrar with the Ministry of Health, Egypt. She has also completed international training including the HIFU non-invasive ultrasound therapy workshop (Ministry of Science & Technology, 2018) and participated in the 5th African Society of Radiology conference (2019).
