Dr. Katarina Zivec is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She completed her medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana.

After graduating from medical school, she spent a year researching at the acclaimed MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA.

She specialized in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at the University Medical Center in Ljubljana.

She spent a year specializing in the UK at the renowned Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Scotland. She passed the European Exam in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (thus obtaining the title of Fellow of EBOPRAS) and is also a member of EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), the world association of cosmetic surgeons ISAPS International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and SZPREK (Slovenian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons).

She is a mother of two, an athlete who is aware of the challenge of reconciling family life, work obligations and maintaining a relaxed, flawless and fit appearance.
