Dental Implant

Dental Implant is becoming the treatment of choice for the replacement for a single, multiple or completely missing teeth. It is designed to serve the same purpose of the original teeth. Dental Implants are made up of artificial tooth root and a dental crown/bridge depending on the extent and location of tooth loss.

Compared to a fixed bridge, a dental implant does not require reduction of the teeth adjacent to the edentulous space just to hold the prosthesis in place, and unlike a removable denture, a dental implant is fixed, thus, sparing the patient the functional or social inconvenience of removable prosthesis.
